found someone selling an Empire Kit 7 piece (tippmann threads) for $70usd shipped.

is it worth it to buy this for my tippmann? I currently have a lapco bigshot, and I still haven't been able to find any paint that comes close to a good match.

A friend of mine got rid if his tippmann and bought a ADG Tac-1, I know its a better gun, but the last time we went out (the first time with his gun) its was obvious that it made a huge difference, he was getting hits that he would of never got before, the paint he was using was a perfect match

i just wanna know is it the GUN that helps with the accuracy? or if I get this empire kit and in turn get good paint to barrel match with it, will my tippmann be as accurate as his tac-1?

To make it short, the main thing that contributes to accuracy is paint to bore match. There are a few other things, but thats the main one. If you use the right paint, the Lapco can be just as accurate as the Empire kit. I would suggest getting the kit if you know you're going to stick with your Tippmann for a while, if not, theres no sense in getting it.

I'm got the Empire on my A5.
At 80 feet I'm getting 4" groupings. My Whisper barrel gave me 6" groupings. I haven't tried the stock barrel, but I'd be surprized if I got better than 12" groupings... and would expect 16".
I picked up my Empire used, from a friend, for $25. I've seen several posts here of people saying how they got their Empire for around $40.

$70 seems high.
In that price range, I'd be very tempted to go a little further and try the Palmer...
