I have a flatline barrel on my 98 and just love it. But almost everywhere i read i hear that apex barrlels are better that flattys. I can't decide on if i should keep my flattys and just use that or if i should get an apex. Someone help please.

Well, if your Flatine is working good with you, then keep it. The only real reason I'd get an Apex over a Flatline is because it's adjustable, lighter(?), and looks better on my marker.
RJ, you can get different shrouds for the Apex, unlike the Flatline.

Just keep the flatline. It won't be much of upgrade to get the Apex when you already have the flatline.

The capability to get longer range, more accuracy, adjustable ball curve, and the options to use a dive bomb, or hook shots, put the Apex way in front, in my book. And it's less picky on paint.

eBay, Froogle, the BSTs of here and the Nation, etc. Just keep an eye out.

DOnt know about a shroud, ebay would be my first look though..
As far as the choice between the two, i would stick with your Flatline, no sence in getting an 80 barrel of the same principle... If it works well then keep it.
Im happy with my Apex, so im not getting a Flatline, kinda the same thing..

Not to mention one drop of moisture in the flatline will ruin your day.

I don't think they have one that looks like the Flatline, but I know they have shrouds that look like M4s and M16s.
