18 or 16 is too long. You'll get alot of friction on the ball which will slow it down. Once the gas hits the porting velocity will slow down.People seem to sport the following barrels the most.
Flatline, Lapco Bigshot, Armason Stealth, JnJ Ceramic(my fav), Smart Parts All-American, Boomstick, and Freak.
Read the reviews on these.
Treat the newbies right especially since I'm one.

There is no such thing dude. Everyone wants this. If there was such a thing everyone who plays would have this barrel. Find a barrel that you think looks cool. Then read the reviews on it. Just remember everyone loves their barrel and swears it is the best. Compare the amount of reviews to rating. The more reviews with the higher rating is more cretable than with only a few reviews and high rating.

Heres and idea for yah, try the JT two peice barrels, not only are they cheaper than a dye boom stick $89 to $99, but they are lighter weight and just as accurate, just a tip if you want to save some money. Of course im not referring to the titanium boomstick which of course is lighter than the jt two peice but costes twice as much.
Just a pointer-

Get the Equation Multi-Switch($95) or Multi-Switch Pro($150). The Mult-Switch Pro comes with 3 inserts, which makes matching paint to barrel much easier. Equation is a small company that focuses on quality control. I am a dealer for Equation and would be glad to answer any questions that you might have. You can reach me at prodigypb@yahoo.com.

LOL...the MS is NOT ugly...maybe the one you saw was ugly cuz some pot smoking kid designed it...you can make a MS barrel look anyway you want and they beat the PARTS (sounds like pants, but the freak is made by Smart Parts...its a joke...oh well...least i tried) off the Freak barrel...I dunno if you own a freak, but if you do, that doesn't mean it's better or even better looking..."The Worth Of A Barrel Is In The Mind Of The Beholder!" HAHA...there I go again...ok, enough of this corny crap...I'll spare you.
Just for the record, I'm not a MS owner...I'm the proud owner of a 14" Carbon Fiber barrel........SWEET!
