My impulse is having huge velocity spikes. A lot of it is probably that I don't know how to clean the reg. (it is the one that the impulse in picture #10 in the reviews has) Are there any upgrades beside a new reg or tank that can help with that? I currently have, a black heart board, strange bolt, new designs bolt pin and ND high volume valve cap.

Well, you may need to clean the reg, that is the first thing you should do.

Also, how old is your impulse? Is it new or is the regulator fully broken in?
