Played one today that I haven't played before. It's called Attack and Defend. One team has to defend a set number of bunkers. Players can be in the bunkers or immediately outside the bunker, but can't rush the team that is attacking. the object is to hold as many of your bunkers as possible until the end of the game. Version I played, the defending team was allowed to rush the attacking team when the two minute warning was sounded.

My luck: I was with four other guys holding a bunker, we repelled three attacks. when the two minute warning sounded, I ran out of air. :(

I gotta 24 oz CO2 tank. It'd been shooting crappy most of the morning. (too cool that morning, it was in the mid 50s). later in the day (after it got warmer) it worked better.

Here's another one they play at Thunderbay. Armeggedon.

All players vs. the Refs. On Average it's 50 players vs. 10 Refs. No matter the odds, The Refs rarely loose :(

You guys must suck then.... me and a few friends played against a ref and he brought in his angel and we beat him quickly (mostly cuz i didnt waste any time and ran to his bunker without making alot of noise and i bunkered him :D

Not because we suck ... I can't begin to go into how things turn out on the field with your team consists of 10 or 12 decent Rec players and 50 or 60 never-played-before walk-ons under the age of 13. It's truly a ClusterDuck.

Plus, all our Refs are Tournament players, they don't use semis, and they are REALLY good.

Yeah ... it gives them a "slight" tactical advantage.

Sound like my kind of players. I love playing with my Sniper II pump. I ref at our local field and the advantage is that I know the field inside and out. Knowing all the field angles really help out! In tournaments I use my Bushmaster or 'Cocker.

As I posted earlier, Armeggedon can be a real ClusterDuck ... true, the refs have better markers, are more experienced, and as you pointed out, they know the field backward and foreward. What really makes it hard, like last time, is having a handful of good players who've been on the field enough to know it, and then having a mob of underaged newbies. They fill up every bunker and you can't move across the field without tripping over them. Anyway, it's all in fun, right, that's the main reason for playing. :)

muck do what i do when i play with newbies...they like to go in big groups... usually to a side that has alot of cover... take your time and let them get filtered out a little(shot out)... then go to the side they aren't on..
works for me... one time i took out the remaining 10 guys on the other team doing that
