You should be using Dow Corning 33 and that ONLY. I know people who have tried using substitute greases and having MANY problems. There are several reasons why they chose Dow 33, read it's faq off of www.kranderson.com.

The one thing that I have found with the white lithium is that it is much thicker then the dow 33. Stick with the dow 33, it is proven and it works, and lastly its a lot cheaper then the white lithium.

White lithum, for atleast my automotive experinces seems to be stringy, stick and thin, not thick as I recall it. Tottaly different type of substance.

IMO WL is cra* anyways!

I agree with everything but this part.

Dow is way more expensive than white lithium. For a lb tub of white lithium you pay about 2 bucks. For a pound of dow 33 its more than 25 bucks.

Grainger has 5.3 oz tubes of dow for $12 bucks, home depot has lb tubs of W/T for $1.77

Well form my experiences I get my my tubes of dow 33 for about 15 bucks canadian, and a tube about 1/5 the size of white lithium for about 6 bucks. Either way, dow is what you should use. Anything but and you compromise the markers reliability.

Woohoo, I still have Dow from my shocker!!! Works for me. No I really agree here, WL is so crap*ie imo, I've just never had good luck with it on anything. Dow wins this arguement hands down!
