Make sure you have put everything back in the exact order its supposed to be. Also make sure you didnt OVER OIL you marker, I did and it would have a hard time recocking. What was the valve that you put in there? What exactly is hapening with your marker? Is a ball firing but the marker is just not recocking? A teeny bit more info would and I could be a lot more helpful.

im only test firing at home..no live rounds.but connected up the bottle all seals aok..soon as fire..seems like a burst shot..3 shots or so..then it needs recocking again..all the parts are stright from tippmann themselves..cheers guys

Do you have the aftermarket valve in the powertube? Try replacing it with the stock powertube and see if that fixes your problem. If not them come back and tell me if its doing the same thing with the stock valve.

its a stock valve..exact replacement from tippmann..the only reason i replaced the valve..was cuase the spring was rusty in my old one..so just replaced it..so u think pop the stock power tube back in?any other sugesstions pal?

O it is the stock valve, my bad. Umm...just double check to make sure everything looks nice and where it should be. Another problem would be that your sear and hammer are worn, this means they wont catch so the marker will kinda fart out and not recock. When you fire it now with the new valve and evrything, does it sound normal except for the fact its not recocking?

when i put the red hot power tube back i then does not recock..put the stock power tube in it is firing fine..very odd.all with out the remote line..put the remote line back on using either power tube..and i get the 3 to 4 burst shot and the recocking..

Yea, make sure the remote line is completely open (you turned the screw thing all the way) and then back it off about 1/4 of a turn. If you turn it all the way and leave it, it starts to choke the marker of air.
I dont know about the power tube, you can fiddle around with it. Becuase I dont have it in my hand I can really diagnose the problem correctly. Is there a valve in the stock power tube and another valve in the red hot power tube? If there are, compare them and make sure everything is nice and dandy.
If your marker fires fine with the tank on gun then you dont have to worry about the sear or the hammer.

yea i got a valve in the stock power tube and the red hot one..when i put red hot tube in and put the tank on the gun she rapid fires and wont recock..put the stock one in and she is ok..rapid shots first of all the she settles down..im just wonderin..could it be co2 related as in lack of it?does the red hot power tube use more co2 than the stock tube?

They use the same amount of CO2 but they sed hot is supposed to make the A-5 a lil more consistent with its seal in the marker and everything. Do you have a pro shop you can bring it to?

With the red hot power tube, do you use the madman spring? Do you use the spring with the stock power tube? Put the red hot back in and try all the springs until your marker starts shootin normally. If it still does not, then try to put the stock spring back in with the red hot. Dont use too much CO2 as we need it to see if we can fix your marker, only fire maybe 5 shots at the most with each spring. You wouldnt happen to have an LPK on there would you?
