I was wondering if I could get some opinions on what people thought about the two barrel upgrades I was thinking about. Right now I have a smart parts tactical barrel on my ION. It seems to be really picky about what kind of paint it uses. Some times it will shoot pretty far/accurate other times is will just plain suck. I fist thought that I should get a Freak Jr. kit with the tactical front attachment but yesterday I saw a person playing with an ION with an Apex barrel that was shooting really far and really accurate. So now I don't know which direction to go. So if you have an opinion on which barrel system is better I'd love to hear it. Also if you know of a better option let me know.

Thanks.

Depends on ur playing style. If you play speedball, then go with the freak kit.Indimidating and reliable. If you play scen.woodsball go with the apex, it turns heads and adds distance. Warning, apex increases distance, but isnt always consistent.

Pretty much what he said. Ive got an Apex myself, and i love it. But if your playing SPeedball mostly i would go with the freak.

I dont know much about the Freak myself, it looks God Awful, but i hear its a decent barrel... SO iono

Thanks, I love woodsball and scenario games, but I wouldn't turn down a game of speed ball. Paintball is paintball right. A third option I thought of was getting a freak set and then buying an apex taking of the front and mounting it on a good freak barrel front. granted this is alot of money, but it would be nice cause I could get the freak set first and then get the apex later on. does the apex fit onto any freak fronts?

I believe it fits on the All American tip. My cousin's got the All American tip and Apex, so I'm sure he'd combine them both... He sure does love that Apex... -_- I wants one.

Yeah that sounds soild, AAs are good barrels too, so i would get the AA for both SPEED and Woodsball, and then later grab the Apex... By then the Apex should drop down in price... Right now its about 80 bucks....
