High end markers are better all around then low end markers, but high end ones are more expensive.

Simple answer, high-ends are more expensive and are much better than low-ends.
Long answer that is more confusing. High-ends now are usually known as EP (electro-pneumatic) meaning they use electronics and air to fire, instead of springs, air, and electronics. This sometimes makes the design simpler, more efficent, less kick, and less noise. See these two diagrams for the differences.

High ends are more technologicaly advanced. Which makes them a lot more gratifying to shoot. And they tend to have a better quality of parts as well.

Higher end guns are more expensive, but you get ALOT for what you pay. They're also more efficient as they run at a lower operating pressure than tippmann or spiders. In other words, you get more shots per tank fill. Which brings me to high-end gun can only use compressed air (N2), which is better on the internals and gives you more consistent shots. CO2 on a high end=DEATH. And because of the operating pressure, they have less kick, which makes them easier to shoot and basically guarentees you ball on ball accuracy, provided that you have a proper paint-to-barrel match (Its in the stickies) And about 80% of the time these "High end" markers are also electric. (Also in the stickies). The other 20% are mechanical markers (autocockers and automags) which don't run on a battery like electros, but are WAY more advanced in parts compared to a tippmann or a spider (stickies)
In conclusion, these are the basic reasons why highends are highends and lowends are lowends.

This is more obvious than the fact that your an 07'er...high-ends are good, yet overpriced because it still does one thing: shoot a paintball, and low-ends aren't as good, and yet sometimes they too are sometimes overpriced...

High-Ends are marketed more for the seriouse more experiencd player people that play in tournaments and etc... Low-End are targeted at newer or casual players, imo......
