I clean and wipe out my tippy A-5 about every 6k rounds. I also rub some sleek in the cyclone if it appears dry at that point.
I lube with a few drops of oil in the asa and dry firing every 800 -1000 rounds.
I saw one guy with a church group who had a pile of old 98s. Probably 4 years old.
He had NEVER lubed them.
One was seizing up , so I walk over with a bottle of gold cup in my hand and asked him to see it for a few seconds.
I tookk off the barrel, dropped some oil in the ASA, and dry fired it a few times and it started working just fine.
He just looked at me like I had done magic.
Unfortanately I believe in keeping a balanced karma, so I made sure I bonus balled him a few times later that day to make up for my good deed.

Thus assuring your place in Hell by Satan's right hand.
Well done. :)

on the asa do you put it right in the hole that leads to the valve or do you just put it on the threads??

I am sorry, my helpful noob feeding spoon has been misplaced at the moment.:dodgy:
Maybe you could just sorta try it. Or maybe just use some common sense.
And yeah Evil, I have gone several times now with the church group.
Unless I can save somone from choking or getting hit from a bus soon I may have confirmed my reservations at the hotel California.

I take apart my a-5 after every day of play, and completely clean it. Then I lube the o-rings, and cyclone, and sometimes I will oil the metal inside the gun.

I've gone a year without oiling mine and it works fine, after all its a Tippmann. I don't recomend this however, mainly because my old Tippmann looks like it was thrown in a lake, while my friends who's is just as old as mine looks brand new. Also even though it works without it, it is not as efficient. I got a new Tippmann recently and now I oil after every 3 games.

I put a few drops of oil in the ASA before I play, then completely clean it and oil it down afterwards.

I used that video when I first took apart my gun. It helped me alot more than the stupid manual.
