Alright hey I was just looking around and I saw an ion but it was from Redz and looked different? What is the difference between SP's ion and Redz ion? Which one is better? Also what size and what kind of tank should I get with them? Thanks

alright well for starts take a look at this,

ion= http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/3516/

redz ion= http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/4936/

ion is stock and is not that great unless u upgrade it, while the redz ion comes with mostly every upgrade u need (short of new board and new regulator) but if ur new to paintball then u wont need those 2 upgrades untill u wish to bring ur game furture.in my opinion definately get the redz ion or simplely get a different gun, anyway most people dont like the ion simply because there are better guns for less money.a great example is the

icd promaster= http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/3874/

it has an uncaped board so u can play with the best of them and still hold give a good game. id recomend that or if u must, the redz ion....

as far as tanks go, always go with a compressed air tank, that would come to $60-$80 new, if u hav more money get a carbon fiber wraped tank that would come to $150-$200 new, now if u dont want to spend all that money get it used or if u have co2, u can get it anti-siphoned and then get a palmer persuit female and male stabilizer so that ur able to use co2 on a highend marker like the ion and promaster, that should come out to about $40 plus u hav the convience of light weight and extreme ease of finding a fill station if ur field doesnt have air fills.

To sum it up the ion is great and the redz is overpriced. If you're looking at the redz you might as well look into other guns like the fusion and stuff.

I didn't mean the ion is great thing quite like that. It's great for what you get unlike the redz ion.

Essentially the Redz Ion is just cosmetic enhancements. There's very little added to the marker that significantly enhances performance.
