Friend having trouble creating account

My friend just registered (hybridcks) and he hasn't received his confirmation e-mail yet

This is a recurring issue with some folks. Please have him make sure that his spam filters aren't catching it. I created several temp accounts/test accounts to test the mechanism used to send confirmation emails and it's working on the different domains I used.

he turned off the spamguard and has yet to recieve anything into inbox or bulk.
