It might be worth it if you didn't already have a QEV, but since you do, don't bother. I've heard that many people actually prefer a QEV to the QEPH, especially folks with either a Response or running at custom pressures. There were some bugs that needed to be worked out from the Beta release. If I were in the market for something like that, I'd wait to make sure they'd ironed all those things out. If you head over to A5OG.net and do a search, they'll have all the info and testing you could ask for. I dare say that most of the guys who own a Beta release QEPH are over there.

Just buy an X-7 Cyclone. It comes with a better version of the QEPH, upgraded internal parts and soft feeder paddles. It also give you an instant boost to 20BPS feed rates, all for less then adding all of the upgrades needed to make the stock A-5 Cyclone feed up to 20BPS.
Here is a link to the cheapest one I could find:

What are the "upgraded internal parts" on the X7 Cyclone? I was under the impression that the only difference was the piston housing and the softer paddles.
And he's already got an A-5 cyclone with a QEV, Vortex, and a Lightning Rod. The X7 Cyclone would be a downgrade from what he's already got.

The ratchet assembly is upgraded. It lasts quite a bit longer. not as long as a Jet-Click or Vortex but more so then the stock A-5 cyclone internals.
And I didnt know he had those other mods. You are right, there isnt any point in getting the X7 hopper.
That being said, if he has a QEV already, dont bother getting a QEPH. they do the same job. And using both will probably create problems, so dont bother asking about that.
