Good place to start would be by reading the reviews for this marker.

I have had my fusion since this last winter. I have put atleast 10 cases through it. Biggest pros for this marker are its performance. 25bps out of the box and still be accurate is amazing for the price. This thing sips air. I have gotten about 1100 shots on a 68/3000 tank. It is very easy to clean and the customer service is great. A/C threaded barrels are a plus as well. Reletivly light weight, and fells comfortable in my hands. Oversize trigger gaurd is nice when wearing gloves too. Rebuildable regs are nice too. Clamping feedneck stock works great. Honestly does not need any upgrades at all out of the box. I might get a barrel kit and a drop (like me) but that is all you need really. I have yet to break a ball in the marker and only three or four in the barrel.

Cons about this marker are few. initial reg creep out of the box can occour, but normally stops once the reg is broke in. Reg is easy to rebuild if you have too. No burst modes on the stock board. Slight kick. I used to shoot a tippmann, so I dont notice, though alot of other players do not seem to like the kick. They like the rest of the marker enough to ignore that flaw though. The stock macro fittings can sometimes be weak and blow out. I already replaced mine.

Overall, I'd call the marker an Angel killer. Performance through the roof, but at a fraction of the price.

^^Exactly. Read the reviews and you'll get the most out of it. Stock, the Fusion is amazing. Fast board, awesome stock barrel, awesome stock regulator, nice on/off, great clamping feedneck, all around a great gun. Personally the only problems I have had were the detents. I bought the Fusion right when it came out, and theres almost always at least one thing wrong with the first bunch. The first bunch came with brass cone-bearing detents that didn't work very well, a phone call to DP and they fixed it up for me. A few months later, the detent won't fit into its slot and a phone call to DP and they're re-milling the gun for me. Awesome customer service, I would definitely buy the gun again.

ive got a fusion that has gone thru about 10 cases of random paint from cheap stuff at about 35 dollars a case to 85 dollars a case. Ive only ever chopped one ball and that was at the end of my hopper. personally i think that the stock barrel is a piece. i would upgrade to a kit. Another bad think about the gun is unless you want to buy a 95 dollars kit you can't change to much about this gun. I went to a website out of cali that sells mostly fusions. I bought a new trigger which lets you shoot faster and its much much lighter than the original. I also bought some better grips from them. But out of the box this gun is well worth the 400. but i just found a nice dm4 for about 50 bucks and it works perfectly so my fusion is taking a rest for a while!

If you can afford it, IMO I'd get the DP Special LE or Hybrid Traitor Series
models because they look better compared to the standard model.:D

I've had mine since May. I have played tourney and woodsball with it. The only thing that I didn't like was the reg inconsistency during the break-in period (about two cases) but it has been a great gun. I've only had one ball break and that was because I turned the eyes off with paint loaded. Maintenance is easy and IMO the best gun in the price range.

I've had mine for almost a year now. I love it. Unfortunatly, I've got to sell it because of a speeding ticket, so yeah. I would keep it if I could.

I've had mine since December, and its been good. It did have some problems with the detents, and I had to send it in twice to get it completely fixed. I used it today, and it worked almost flawlessly, with 1 ball break with slick Walmart paint.
