Depending on where you play on the field is one factor to take in.
Its not necessary, but if you play front, you want to be as small a target as possible. it that means getting a 12"or even 10" barrel then do so.

I personally use 12" & 14" exclusivly.

At the back any length goes.
as for style. Whatever tickles your fancy. there is no performance difference in the 2 tips

I agree!!

I have 3 freak tips, for my different markers. I use a 12" Teardrop on an Adrenalin LED, a 14" Tear drop on an Impulse and a 14" All American on a Ripper LCD....no difference in performance, only preference.

I, however, see no point in a 12"
if it makes not much different in accuracy between the 12" and 14," and the only reason you get 12" is because it is more compact, why not just go for the 10"?
thats what I got.
I have a 10" freak, and an extra 14" all american tip as well.
go with the 10" if you play front... I do. it is great.
so compact.

I got the 12" tip because 10" was not available when I got my Freak kit. I was one of the first to order a kit from SP. The 14" AA is really only 13". I like the 12/13 " tips on Angels. IMO 10 is too short and I can not aim as well.

I prefer the 14" tip on the Impulse because it seems to aim better.

I like 12's and 14's. 12 makes a great compromise IMO between 10 and 14.

I completely agree. it seems like the barrel is to short to point at anything. 12" helps my accuracy visually. I find it easier to get accurate shots with a 12"

I dont.

you are just a retard.

j/k.

god, I am hungry. I want to go get a cheesesteak.
I cant afford food though. I spent my last $$$ on two Mickeys last night. I cant even do laundry tonight.
college is great.

get the 10" dont listen to them.
I love my 10"
or get the 12" I dont care.
its not like my feelings are going to be hurt either way.

i heard that itd good to have a longer barrel on supair ball because u can use it to push into the bunkers i dont know if this is true though cuz i never played on a supair field

I don't know if it's better, but the flexiblity of sup air does allow for some movement for longer barrells. Course I could be talking out my**

For back players a longer barrel is WAY better on a Sup Air (or ultimate air) field.

You can push in on the bunker and have nothing more than your barrel sticking out. It's awesome!!!

You can also do this on a hyperball field. Stick the barrel of your marker in the groves of the hyperball tube and rotate in and out. Not as nice as sup air but gets the job done.

I love that about hyperball!
