I was wondering how the Fusion reg is. Is is worth buying a CP or Hyper 2 to replace it?
Also does anyone know what the +- fps is on a broken in Fusion reg.

While the Air Systems forum is an appropriate place for this question, I think you'd get more response in the DP forum - after all, most of the Fusion owners (all those who bought their markers new) will have had experiences with the stock regulator.

dont waste your money on a new reg because the reg on the fusion is one of the best parts on it imo

Yeah the stock Fusion reg is really nice. Internally, it is similar to the CP reg so it will give you comparable performance.

This is how it is.
There are 2 kinds of regs, those with springs and those with shim stacks.
Springs will eventually wear out, shims won't.
The DP stock reg is a shim stack design, and operates just like the Hyper2
which is also uses shims. Dye has a good reg, so you might say
Hyper2 = stock DP
But thats your "imo".
As far as the fps, I sorrily say I've only been able to play with mine twice since I got it in March. Haven't had time to sit down at the chrono and play with the HPR and LPR, my team's too anxious to play. I am confident that if you take the time to set the fusion and ain't a dumb@$$ like the previous owner of mine, who jacked the HPR pressure up to 350 and didn't set the LPR, which is supposed to be use to fine tune fps, the HPR is just to get the desired PSI, then you will be satified. The CP reg is a shim too, but you'll already have that, right?;)

Honestly, the DP Reg is one of the best I have ever used. I have contacted DP about buying them seperatly for my other markers. When I first got it, I was a little skeptical, because I was getting +/- 7 or so, but now that I've put a few cases through my Fusion, I am getting a consistant +/- 2 with good paint.
