Hey all. Just registered 5 min ago and thought I'd dive right in with a couple of questions. First of all I've probably played 4 times total in the last 10 years, but it was enough that I figured this is something I'd enjoy. Second I have a feeling I'm on the older end of a new player since I hit 26 this year. Anyways, just curious if anyone from southern Wisconsin would have some suggestions on what the better fields are to get started on. I'm preferably looking for somewhere that doesn't have a die-hard elitist crowd and will take lone walk-in newbies for casual recreational play. Basically, where's the best field in S. Wisconsin to get started?

I'm from nothern Wisconsin but so i don't really know many fields but there is a cool place in Milwaukee called Paintball Daves. I never played there but was at their proshop and they all seemed pretty cool their. There are some cool fields near Green Bay and in Marinette that are laid back and everyone is out to have fun. I know those are pretty north though, so i'm probably not of much help.

I am also from southeast wisconsin. There is a store called R&S Paintball on the northside of Kenosha. The prices are a little high. You'd be better off getting a gun online. The store also runs a field near the border of WI and IL. Hope this helps.

Actually I picked up most of my equipment at a place in Lake Delton by Wis Dells. The prices did not seem bad at all. I paid around $130 for a Custom 98. Thanks for the replies so far everyone. Looking forward to getting out this summer as much as possible!
