If you read my Sig you can tell my standard loadout is with a Tac Flashlight.... well the problem is i finally got my harness for my mask that lets me hold a nightvision on the mask (its like a sling). Now that i have that i dont think i really need the Flashlight.... i have a Tac Laser also in Green and Red but i dont think switching it would be really helpful... ps it looks cooler with the flashlight esp when you room rush (it looks so genuine ^^)

Any Support here?

EDIT : I forgot to mention i only go woodsballing and scenarioballing (mainly scenarioball) [gota love the night]

Depends on how the night vision goggles affect your playing, to me it would seem like they would take away a human's natural senses and all that good stuff... and the flashlight would seem like it would give yoiur position away and when you turned it on for awhile and then off, BAM! your nightvision that you had is gone, that's why the military used/uses those red flashlight things... Not sure if they still do.

I would think the nightvision goggles would take away your natural nightvision unless you wore them the whole time... I don't know though, I have never played a night game before... I mean, if you had one of those red flashlights/ torches then I would use one of those... Maybe someone more helpful will post, my mom is yelling at me (what else are they good for...(mothers)) so my thoughts would have been better and more thorough but they aren't.

Actually the Flashlight is for house entry in Scenario balling during the night or if its VERY dark... (if its hostage situation i'm your man and my team is all ready also [local team of buddys]) its really really fun if you know how to do it... PS it looks way cooler if you come in with a flashlight than a Laser lol

10ft in broad daylight and 20 in the night

I finally voted, Green laser!! Because a flashlight will alert the victim if there is an oncoming threat... a green laser, not so much. Boo the color red.

Technically speeking, in the night time, the human eye has the hardest time picking up red lights.

So the red laser seems the clear winner.

Except that no field or even is going to allow you use one, nor should your own common sense.
A. they serve no actual purpose in paintball. Parabolic flight.
B. potential for retinal damage

Personally I say take all the junk off, but thats just a personal opinion.

I play Scenarioballing the most and just imagine being in a scenarioballing with Hostage situation / Item recovery and sleeping in a room then hearing a giant BANG (aka me kicking down the door) and thne you waking up with my gun in your face and a flashlight at 5inchs from you... you would prolly pee your pants (that has happen to ppl that when i did that) doing these types of entry are my specality... esp if im doing it with my teammates.... my 5 man team can easily take over a house with 20 + people
