Convert 98 to 98c

I've heard a few people talk aobut getting hte 98c shell and swapping the internals to the new shell. All i heard you'd need was the trigger parts. But does anyone know for sure if this is even possible? If upgrading to a double trigger and a few spare misc parts off a 98c can this be done?

Basically that's what I've heard. I believe that the only thing different between the two guns, besides milling, is the trigger. You'd need to buy the Custom 98 trigger springs kit (not sure how much money, but not a lot), plus a trigger (I'd go with the double). Do a little research (like what you're doing here) because there might be a couple more small things that are different.

Ya thats why i'm asking, because no one has ever really "done" it they've just "heard" about it, so if you've "done" it please let me know :)


BTW every time i ask a shop owner or player about it they look at me funny and tell me to just go buy a 98c, or usually, why dont you just get a "real" gun. :pissed:

If you already have a M98, it's like $60-$70 cheaper to just swap the internals between the M98 and the C98. Tell those shop owners to :crazy: :laugh: shove it!!!:laugh: :crazy:

Yes i know this, which is why i'm hoping to find out. A friend w/ a custom 98 and i are going to try it one day. I'm SURE i'm not the first one to do this.

i cant remember where but for like 100 dollars you sent your m98 in and they send you a c98 with rt
