i heard places that if the impulse gets any sand it in at all the thing totally screws up, this would be bad considering the closest field to my house has sand for ground, and if it rains at all i cant play, cause its electric, right?

the only place that sand can get in your marker and be bad is under the rubber were the dwell pot is. this could screw up the electrical board. you can also play in the rain. i have many times and have no problems

you can also play in the rain

I would STRONGLY advise against it.

yeah, well, try covering the whole marker (really hard, of all my friends, none of us have eve managed to make our gear waterproof, I came the closest, took me a long time, and like 30 bucks, not worth it) just dont shove the gun into the ground, and dont drop it in a lake, and you might be fine

Where do you guys get this info of you can't play in the rain with an Impulse??? The board is coated so you are able to play in the rain. Just don't submerge your gun in water, but it is ok to go out in a down pour.

maybe, but boards can still fry. I worked for 2 years for my Impy, do I want my board to fry?

well, it doesnt say anything about not playing in the rain in the warranty thing. so if your impy got screwed up when playing in the rain, wouldnt they fix it for free.

Yes they will. The boards will not fry from water. Protective coating as stated before.
