i have a new tippmann 98 custom that i just bought. i am going to put a flatline barrel on it along with a double trigger. i need to know what the best hopper to put on would be to accompany those(i don't wanna know the best hopper overall, but the best one to go with my FL d/t). i don't wanna spend more then like $100ish.
i would like ideas for stock and if i should bother with getting a dropward. also if i should get a scope(but that is the last thing i would buy)
if there is anything else u think i should get plz tell me, i'm new to pb
thanks dudes

Stocks are mostly useful for folks who have remote lines. Having both a stock and a drop forward is kinda counter intuitive. Drop forwards are for re-distributing the weight of the marker. If you're going to be using a stock, weight distribution is less important.
As for a decent hopper, you really can't go wrong with an Egg:

If you plan on staying into paintball, than I strongly suggest to buy an expansion chamber or regulator. These keep your shots more consistent and add a couple hundred shots to your CO2 tanks.

scopes are pointless, if you want accuraccy don't play paintball. As far as the flateline goes do not buy it, a few guys i play with have it and always go back to there other barrels, may i suggest an apex does more for a better price, a 32* wisper barrel, or a J&J. as far as a hopper a riochet (s.p?) a cyclone or maybe if you wish to e-grip it in the future an eggy or halo. as far as fire power go with an r/t if you like the idae of keeping your marker mech or the e grip if your into the slection and higher rates of fire. a few other things to consider would to go hpa if you got the money or buy a expansion chamber, or a remote (it will work just as well as an expansion chamber). i also would suggest for you to invest in a chorno if you play outlaw ball so you don't end up seriously injuring someone, i picked one up for 30$ and it was well worth the investment, it also will let you adjust your gun to get the safest performance out of it. But hey all the things i have suggested are only for you if you want to put money into a tippmann, and if you wish to stay with paintball.

If I were you I would get a cyclone feed, they are reliable and don't require batteries. For a trigger, you can't go wrong with Rufus Dawg products. For a barrel, I highly recommend an Apex. They do whatever a Flatline can plus more.

I'd love to get a chorno. where the heck did you get one for $30?!?!?! the only prices i've have been between $90 - $100.

Scopes in PB are pointless IMHO, but I don't agree with the accuracy statement. A tuned, well regulated marker with good paint to bore match can be very accurate at the normal range paintball is played, <200 ft. My E98 will put a hopper into < 8" at 100 ft, but it's got more ups than the BST on PBN. I agree with you though on the Flatline. I had one on an A-5 and went back to my J&J after a while. But if i were to have another barrel of that type, I'd go with the Apex. About the hopper, a Cyclone would be my suggestion as well. No batteries needed, and will feed as fast as you can pull the trigger.

I feel like I have seeen this exact queston before. MAny times. :dodgy:
Do you have an RT or egrip?
If not, stick with your gravity feed shake n shoot hopper. And egg2 or a used revvie are good if you feel you have super fast fingers..
Look at the apex over the flatline , esp for a 98.
Go look at reviews for the rest of your stuff.
