do u have to do anything special to ur gun to run Nitrogen in it if so what do need (spyder tl gun)

To run nitro on a tl plus you need:
1) a nitro tank
2) nitrogen in the tank
3) and the knowledge of how to hook it up

sorry about being a smart *ss. You do not need any speacial equipment for nitro with a nice gun like a tl+. My friend has a tl+ and he runs nirto through it. Remember that nitro tanks don't come cheap.

why are nitro tanks so expensive...why do they have to use different materials than co2 tanks

Because CO2 tanks hold 900 psi at it's highest, usually around 800. Nitro tanks hold 3000 psi. Co2 is unregulated, it's just a pin valve. Nitro has to be regulated because 3000+ psi going into your gun would cause it to explode. Most of the price goes into a regulator, some of it for fiber wrapping (it's lighter to use fiber for a 3K tank, and SS would have to be made really thick and hence, really heavy to work with a 4.5K tank).

Also N2 is much better than Co2 so i feel that tank distributers are taking advantage of the fact that N2 is much better than Co2.

i suggest doing a lot of research before getting nitro. its much more complicated than co2 and you should think about what you might need in the fuuture
