I have decided to go with the J&J ceramic but I want to know if is a good barrel and the following things

Selfcleaning
Accuracy
bore size
What length (14 or 12)
What performance diffirence is there between the 12 and 14 inch
looks on A-5
noise
How does it compare to the progressive and linear PPS

I will be using it on the A-5

Is your settup for woodsball?
If so, th 14'' would be a good choice. There is pretty much no difference between the two except that the longer one might be a little quieter.
the SP linear might be a tiny bit more accurate, but I don't think it can self clean. The progressive is basically the same but wothout the self cleaning method.
Yes, it is pretty quiet.
It is very accurate from what I hear.
I'm not sure the bore size, but most likely .689.
It will look good on your gun.

I don't know much about the ceramic barrel but where i am from most shop and people recommend the cp barrel. I personally have 2 and i love them. they come in many colors , they are self cleaning, accurate, and silent. But out of all those lengths i would go with 14 inch.

This was pretty much a pointless post...you say you want a J&J Ceramic, and then you ask every question possible about it...wouldn't you ask about it, and then decide if you want it? And read the reviews, man...

I have decided to go with the J&J ceramic but I want to know if is a good barrel and the following things

Selfcleaning
It self-cleans better than any of your usual barrels because it's inside is ceramic coated. If you have a break in the middle of a fire-fight, expect to be back to reasonable accuracy in less than ten shots.

Accuracy
With the right paint, it'll be as accurate as any other barrel. In regards to comparison to the other barrels, it'll be pretty much the same. The Linear's rifle-ing doesn't do anything for accuracy. The PPS Brass barrel may be more accurate than the Linear, Progressive, and Ceramic, though.

bore size
It's my understanding that one-piece barrels are a bit oversized so they accomadate more sizes of paint. I'd say .689 maybe.

What length (14 or 12)
It wouldn't really matter. 2" doesn't really do anything, really. It'd be your preference, though.

What performance diffirence is there between the 12 and 14 inch
None. The longer a barrel, the more air/CO2 needed to shoot.

looks on A-5
Who cares...?

noise
The J&J is known to be a quiet barrel. It's due to its porting. The more porting (Longer a barrel), the quieter.

How does it compare to the progressive and linear PPS

I will be using it on the A-5

Enjoy yourselves.

Like i said look at the cp (custom products) barrels most local shops have them (at least where i live) they are great barrels very accurate and so on. the big thing is i heard that the ceramic coating can sratch of if you are not careful. cp can self cleaning very well (own experince i have a mr1 with gravity feed chops quite a bit) and since you have a-5 i am guessing you have a cyclone so your chances with chopping is almost never (at least in my own experiances). And it would look great on your gun too (get it in black). They are also cheap.

Just get the Ceramic and stop second guessing yourself. It's a good barrel, and you won't have any trouble with it.

From what I heard, CPs don't self-clean as well as Ceramics.

I will be playing woodsball most of the time so you guys think the Ceramic will work in the bush and which length to get for my A-5?

It's a ceramic coating on the inside of an aluminum barrel. Length is preference. 14" in the woods might help to poke through the brush.

Well I play heavy front so I think I might go for the 12 inch to stay nice and tight to watever I am behind and it would look cooler. I am also getting a stock.

2 inches really isn't that big of a deal, but it's all preference. I mean i prefer 12 since i'm a front player but my friend prefers 16".

LoL.

Try another online store. Actionvillage isn't the only place that carries 12" Ceramics, I'm sur.
