Ey.. I have a Tippmann A5.. On my Tippmann I got a 16" Ceramic barrel, tapco T6 stock, double trigger, Tasco red dot sight ( And i need a rail)....

Im thinking of getting a secondary gun on a whole new primary marker...Im looking into an X7...All of my accessoies from my A5 will fit on an X7 right? Except the stock??

If I dont get a X7..Im going to keep my A5 and get some sort of secondary gun....Im looking into a trilogy competition autococker or a Tacamo Ak47..... Do I need to upgrade many things if i get an autococker?

What do you think the best idea is??

id say stick with the a-5, it is one of the best woodsball guns you can buy, do you really need a secondary?

ya the x7 is really just an a5, nothing special or worth it. If you feel you need a second gun(hey getting bored of a gun can be a players fate)be adventurous and buy somethin you normally wouldnt consider.

Yeah, I will second the idea of getting a different marker for a secondary.
Something , different.

I know you want to be able to utilize all your current accessories.
And to that aim, the X-7 certainly makes sense.

But this might be a good time to re-evaluate your mrker usage and maybe get something a little different.

Maybe a mag or an EP lp marker of some kind. There are certainly lots of choices in the low end electro market now. You can typically pick one of these up and a decent crossfire 68/45 for the price of an X-7

I will say this in defense of the X-7.
The egrip for it looks outstanding. It utilizes an HES trigger like the Mini and I can tell you from experience that an HES trigger is a feather light easy to walk mechanism.

though i absolutly hate to say it in tippmann forums, if you want a second marker that is a bit new, buy an autococker trilogy tac or comp. Though to the average woodsball nut it sounds like a speedball gun, the quiteness, speed, and accuracy* of a cocker can add a different element to your game

the accuracy of autocockers is a greatly debated topic. Some say they are more some say they are equal to the average open bolt. They do kick less than blowbacks, but still an arguement. Nice stock barrel though

Yeah I was in the same problem as you were. I either wanted to up my A5, buy another woods gun, or buy something completely different. I was on a limited budget, but I bought a VS2 anyways. But after I bought it, I was thinking of wich hopper to get, and that if I want an anti-siphon, or air tank. I didnt think about that before I bought it, so now once I recive it, it will probly be sitting in my closet for awhile. In some ways I feel like an idiot, but it just gives me more time to decide on what I need for it. Plus it would've cost me more to up my A5 than to get a different set-up.

sure.......... until your playing outlaw woodsball and your main marker goes down or you want to bring along people who have never played. markers are like tools...... use the right one for the right job. your not gonna use the pump against a speedball team with ep markers, unless your superman :D
