Is it worth to get a flat line barrel for a spyder?

Hey, yah it sure is! It's made out of this real rare & valuable metal known as "Unobtainium"... :dodgy:

Truthfully, flatlines only go on Tippmann A5, X7, and 98C (I've seen pics of one adapted onto a cocker too tho). Your only option would be an Apex in spyder threading. As for is it worth it, personal preference plays a big part...

IMO useful in woods, not so much in speed...

Ummm... APEX adapter much?

Mister - "ummm, Apex adaptor much?" That reply is kinda hard to make sense out of other than a touch of sarcasm, but yes that could indeed be an option. If only he had asked "How can I mount an Apex tip to my Spyder's aftermarket barrel?"

I'd be most thrilled to see an apex adaptor that can get a flatty onto his Spyder... Hehe the shroud too? Yes, he can use it to mount the Apex tip -
myself, I just used hockey tape...

All in all, the Apex is his only real option for flatline-like effects using his Spyder. Whether he adapts it to an aftermarket with the adaptor, hockey tape, or just uses it stock - it's still an Apex, which is the only real option.

As stated, unless you do some extensive modding you cannot use a flatline on anything other than tippmans. And as stated, the apex is the only barrel that will add a backspin affect that will give you more range. Just a heads up though...at the added range the balls will move slower, and from personal experience will not break as often.

actually the flatline cocker was a kit sold a couple years back. Im unsure on the dates, but it was about the same time(maybe before)the tippmann kit.

There's no Tippmann (either A5 or 98C) to Spyder barrel adapters?

There are but say for a 98c flatline to fit a spyder more than the adapter would be needed do to it's design.

An Apex over Flatine ANYDAY, IMO. Regardless.

QFT Apex IMO are a lot better because you adjust them to curve around corners rather than up.

Well, for a Tippy, I guess you can hold the marker sideways...? :-D

On ebay I saw a flat line for a spyder.

I consider the Apex to be a worthy investment for any gun - that would include Spyders.
