Don't worry about a highend hopper unless you have an e-grip as well.

There are no hoppers that I know of that are not compatible with a Flatty.

I would say go cyclone, or get an egg.

The egg hoppers are weighted more towards the back which complements the tippman since it is fairly front heavy with a flatline.
I agree that unless you have an RT or an Egrip you do not need an electro hopper.

I have had several flatlines, and I have friends who have flatlines and all except one has ditched them for the Apex. That one, and he is just an occasional player. And he can't figure out how to remove it and none of us will tell him :P .

I don't generally like stocks. You must have a remote line if you get a stock, so take the costs of a remote line (about 40) and a good remote pack (30-60) into account.
I just got a tac vest off ebay for about 45 shipped and it is pretty decent and actually makes me look woodsball hard core for once. It holds a remote tank great, plus pods and other doodads. Yup looks seriously cool.(which is why I haven't worn it yet;) . I like looking like a newb.)

Screw the egg, get the new Revolution Eye Force for the same price(or buy a used halo for cheap like I did).

you don't need a hopper. and why are you wasting money on a double trigger?

1. there are no hoppers that do not work with the flatline. some forcefeed hoppers will push past a worn out ball latch though.

2. stocks ARE personal preference. id go with a JCS www.bp-usa.com stock only beacuse they are adjustable and fold out of the way if you play indoors. i have had a few on my tippmanns and love them :D

3. drops also are personal preference. the size you will need/want will be determined by the size of the tank you are using and what is comfortable to you.

4. stocks and drops forwards are pointless TOGETHER. both are made to do the same thing, distribute the weight and balance the marker. together they negate each other. if you get a stock get a remote line and a pack to hold the tank and extra pods. using a stock and tank is incredibly awkward to use.

5. as for the double trigger the Ttech fang trigger is awesome for R/T and regular mech triggers. its adjustable with 2 or 3 set screws to have the shortest trigger pull. plus it looks pretty schnazzy

Given the difference in performance and versatility between the Apex and the Flatline that comment might almost be construed as an insult.:eyes:

Even in general, no one better ever tell me that buying the "right" barrel better is the best decision I will ever make, because if it was true that would be just too depressing for words.

edit:

lol your forum name has the word sniper in it .....:jester:

Empire Reloader will do just fine, even with a RT.

i meant that you don't need an electro hopper. and unless your using r/t or e-grip, you don't need a double trigger. but an egg does help offset the front heavy flatty.

While you will NEVER walk a mech tippman trigger, some people find a double trigger helps cut down on finger fatigue.

Not me, because I am a man and not a whiny little girl. But I won't argue with em.

Also, I REALLY suggest a electo hopper. I love my Empire, and I don't have a RT or Electro. With my double trigger, and polished trigger parts, I can throw some paint. I oftne would chop a ball. I have only chopped 1 ball since adding it 3 years ago.
