Stolen from pbn, Rumor is, It is going to be a reloader that is RF capable and magna drived. The empire moderater on pbn says it will be out by the world cup. Basically it will be the pulses features in a Reloader B shell. Linkage: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2325111

Darn it! And I have that V10 cheetah on order still. :(
I hope I can use it on this loader.

All I see is a little picture that says coming soon. Empire needs to come up with their own stuff. First its a sound activated Halo B, then its a sound activated Revvy, now its a RF chipped Pulse in a new shell.

last I knew halo B's and revys use a reflective sensor not a sound sensor... so technically empire did come up with their own stuff . No one is sure if its going to be like the pulse, so why are people already accusing them of copying them? Unless empire said it was "a pulse with a new body" then people should just wait till they are released.
It probably will be like the pulse but I bet they will do something different, that makes it extra special ;)

I mean that the Reloader B came out after the Halo B, and is almost identical, the main differences being that it is sound-activated and they all come with Rip Drive stock. Same thing with the Reloader 1 and 2, they are almost identical to a Revvy, but sound-activated. The first post says it will have the Pulse's features in an Empire shell.

It's not like empire just steals the design..... they have something negotiated out with odyssey before the release of the reloader I'm sure
theres nothing wrong with empire making their own version of another product anyway, just more variety for us buyers.
Empire seems like a secondary designing company anyway... most of their product is a remake of another product, I still dont see anything wrong with that. Most of their remake gets more sales from buyers, seems like alot of people like the reloader b more than the halo b, more people like the events more than the vents, so what does that tell you? benefiting us or hurting us? They do have the mini though... which I think is their own design from scratch.

If you guys remember KEE (formerly NPS) sued Procaps for releasing the pulse loader siting 'intellectual property infringement' and other things of that nature. It's delayed an all out release of the Pulse and more then likely a tactic to keep sales of the Pulse down until their new hopper comes out.
Obviously the Magna is the hopper that was supposed to be released and created before the Pulse. Before Procaps 'copied' the designs supposedly. So it's technically wrong to assume that it's copying the Pulse because according to the lawsuit KEE had the designs for this loader before the Pulse.

The video only shows bursts, so it doesn't really tell consistancy. But honestly, it seems unreal that Empire would put the feedneck THAT far in front. I mean come on, thats just ridiculous.

im a little sceptical right now but will keep an open mind

I was thinking the same until Manike actually started putting URLs to the picture in the censor filter and also started deleting posts that had the hopper, including mine.

Why would empire put that much weight in the back? especially with the 6AAs.

Looks like a Reloader B suffered 3rd degree burns and melted.
Horribly ugly, terrible decision to put the batteries in back. Not sure if that's supposed to balance it somehow, but with the tank in back I can't see how it would.

Oh dear lord I really hope that's fake. I can't stand to see the feedneck that far forward.
If that is what it's going to look like then I'm sticking with my Pulse and Reloader B.

In comparison to the depth of the catch cup (assuming the same design as a HALO/Reloader B catch cup) that battery pack doesn't look deep enough to hold 6AA batteries.
Unless they have switched to using AAA batteries (well, it would be one way of getting the weight down I guess), the dimensions just look..... off.

you realize they both oydessy and empire work for KEE right that would be why the hoppers look the same and work the same.

Moving the feedneck to the front of the hopper does allow better placement of the drive cone. In the new arrangement, the drive cone area is smack in the middle of the hopper which will help with consistent feeding of paintballs even when the marker is pointed downhill. Placing the AA batteries sideways plus the other changes in arrangement may allow a shorter, smaller profile. I'm not saying I love this potential design, but there are some benefits.

If this thing can feed 50bps with no chops, ill buy it, other than that im sticking with my v35. if they are gonna keep the feedneck that far in the front then they should at least make it look somewhat good

I can't imagine the horror on the player's faces when empire confronted them with the hoppers that they'd have to use for the next several seasons. I'd be willing to bet cash they thought it was an april fools joke until they recieved the final product.

So retarded hopper-making zombies?
I agree with general sentiment - even though my egg died, I don't really want it back OR its new reincarnation.
This thing needs a more meaningful name - Magtard? Mugly Drive? I know there's somebody who can give it a nickname more deserving.

Maybe they figured you could also get closer to the bunker and play a little tighter, along with the benefits stated above.
I shoot an egg which has the feedneck up front so maybe it's marketed towards eggy users who want a faster loader but also has the feedneck in front.
This thing looks like it's gonna snap on you.

Maybe they want you to have the ability to drop extra paint on your head
As for tightness, why couldn't they lower the profile a bit by tucking the batteries further down? Not to the point where there's no space between the hopper and the gun, but so that there's a little less space, and therefore lowers the overall body?
EDIT: nevermind, I guess that would defeat easy access to the rip drive

I wouldnt say it looks too ugly, they were saying that about the pulse, the fasta, and I'm sure the egg was diferent enought that they said it was ugly, so I'm giving this one a chance, assuming it is structerely stable.

why dont hopper companies just go back to 9 volts? Lighter and better.
And the only other reason i can think of is easier podding up?Bring the lid closer so reloading is faster?
Or maybe its just another evolution,it alomst looks nonforcefed to me
