How well does the PMI tank work on your AKA markers? Do you notice shootdown or a drop in efficiency?

Also, in the PBN Excalibur Database thread I seemed to notice the people with preset tanks seemed to get better consistency. What do you have to say about this?

I've had no problems with the tanks. All the tanks I currently own are PE. They are set to about 750-800 psi. One of he thoughts on shootdown, efficiency and consistency is that as long as the HP reg on the gun has a solid steady flow of air it will do what it needs to do properly. Unequivically the best reg I've used is the Sidewinder. Keep a good flow into it and it'll perform just like it's supposed to. A lot of people with adjustable tanks try to turn it down too low. They don't understand drive pressure versus operating pressure. On the AKA LP guns you need 400-500 psi into the Sidewinder for best efficiency, minimal shoot down and max consistency.
