im trying to reaasemble a custom pro for a friend and am having trouble with the linkage arm. im looking at the diagram in the manual and unfortunately the drawing doesnt show the linkage arm to scale.
http://www.tippmann.com/pdfs/manuals/Custom_Pro_Combo_Manual.pdf
page 14
it shows the linkage arm as being flat all the way across when the linkage arm on the custom pro im working on is flat and the bumps up a little bit

so is the linkage arm placed properly or do i need to have that bumped part in the front of the gun and the flat part in the back. thanks for your help.

What's with the curve? Is that part of the ACT?

Thats very possible, my Pro ACT has that, but if I remember correctly my buddy's old model 98 has a straight rod.

Hehehe... rod.

All newer 98 customs have ACT and have that modified linkage arm. There is an animation somewhere that shows hows its used.
