I noticed that on the back of the bolt for the Fusion, there is a hex small screw.

The only thing that I can see is, that screw holds in the locking pin, but otherwise I am not sure.

Anyone know what this screw does?

take it out, see if the locking pin falls out. if so, you have an answer.

Tried that already...in between 3 hex wrench sets I have, none will fit the screw.

go to walmart, buy a nother, cost 69 cents. has metric and standard in it. or, look in the manual to see what it does or ask DP themselves

My guess is that is holds in the pull pin.

Well, the screw itself doesn't hold the pull pin, nor make any contact with the pin itself (otherwise you would have to loosen that screw each time you wanted to pull the pin up). It is however part of the complete assembly that holds the pin in place.

The screw is in contact with a spring, and the spring is in contact with a catured ball bearing. It's the ball bearing that is in contact with the groove in the pull pin. The spring pushes the ball bearing against the pin. So the screw holds the assembly together for one thing, and for another, also allows you to adjust the tension on the spring which controls how hard the ball is pushed against the pin. So you can adjust how hard it is to pull the pin up and push it down again.

No problem - I just looked at the exploded diagram of the marker in the manual. ;) :P

nice uziel but to everyone esle i wouldnt mess with this unless your bolt pin is to hard to get out or to easy because if you make it to hard to get out you might not be able to get the pin out with out unscrewing that screw or you might make it to loose so that it comes out while your shooting so to just say if its not broken dont fix it

if you do take it out tho use purple thread locker to set it back in place. it has the lowest lb/ft requirement to break loose. blue and red are too strong. and you cant heat a composite material without messing it up.
