Yeup. It comes out sometime in October, and is expected to be $100-125 more than the original Fusion was, bringing the price to around $450+. It doesn't look to be a huge jump in performance, just something different. Lighter, smaller, drop the LPR, new milling, other than that I'm guessing it will perform similarly to the original Fusion.

^But the main question still remains then, does anyone think it's worth the extra 100-150$ plus?

HP more than likely. They just dropped the LPR (similar to the Rail). I'm surprised that they'd release this early when all the hype is supposed to be in october....Like Legionnaire, I'm too short in cash for sept....but in a way, it's ok, because i'll be able to hear the reviews!!!!!

Was ICD mentioned? The point is, in my opinion, its the looks that are causing people to assume that its a much better gun, when its more of a different gun of the same caliber, rather than a huge jump in performance.

You're completly right. However it also has some extras already on it like RAPS, locking feedneck, etc.
And again i'm still not sure if it's worth the extra 150 bucks......I might just sring for a regular fusion if the reviews just state it as being average.

I thought they only made like 500(?) thresholds, and therefore they weren't available now...I'm not sure though. They are very nice aswell.

Only 500 milled Thresholds were made, but less milled ones are supposed to come out. And also, with the price that you can get used Fusions at, the $150 price increase is definitely a huge stretch.

Hey, i was just reading in the PE section (guage thread) and uziel and other got talking about markers with no LPR, that might be rough on paint...do you think that because the F8 has no LPR than it could become a chopper? IDK, I don't have really that much experience with LPR set-ups
HungryHippo7735
09-19-2007, 04:31 PM
not neccessarily. legends, ions, and shockers dont have lprs, and they arent known for having problems with chopping. i wouldnt worry about it if i was u.
DerMaverick
09-19-2007, 04:53 PM
ok, i won't then. lol
babustos
09-19-2007, 06:18 PM
Yeah a lot of good guns out there don't have LPR's, but I think more people prefer them. The prescence of an LPR really doesn't make a gun any better or worse, it just allows for more tinkering and fine tuning.

As of now, definitely one of the last choices for $400-ish, now that the Quest is $400.

Its just plain ugly. It looks like a ghetto dye crossed with an then throwing a bit of intimidator. And i would much rather have an lpr

What are you talking about?! The F8 is a beautiful marker. Other new guns don't have LPR's either.

i took a threshold over an F8 and it shoots amazing, great efficency with the assassin mod, and with barely any o rings to work on, its very easy to work on if something ever does go wrong

i woulda gone threshy, but the insane milling would suck having to clean out. plus i dont have another 100 bucks.
oh, and if you want to buy one, type dangerous power f8 into google search, and like 3 down is some military gear site that sells em.
