i got some excellertoe 4.0 questions. first of all, i want to take off the expansion chamber and put on a gas thru foregrip because i am using a compressed air tank with a built in regulator. what kind of vertical bottle adapter can i use? the hole size and thread type looks like the same as the end of a steel braided hose. is that correct? also...when using a shocktech spyder bolt, there is a problem with the ball stopper. the aftermarket bolts have smaller grooves to avoid hitting the ball stopper, and in turn end up rubbing against it. will this damage the ball stopper in any way? and how is the performance for the shocktech bolt? thanks again.

id think the bolt would destroy the ball detent over time... as for the vtl adapter i dont no but ive been told that it takes spyder vtls. the x chambe rwont affect the use of nitro in any way, so its not realy a problm and doesnt realy need to be removed, but suit yourself. you could always order the gas thru grip that comes on the 3.0 and you wouldnt need a vtl adapter either.

well.. lets see now.. you might have to go with another bolt if thats just going to wreck your gun or you would have to find a way to machine it so that would not happen.. as for the gas-thru foregrip.. your gonna have to go for 3.0 one.. cause uh.. jt hsa some messed up female/male things

try cutting down the ballstopper, or just eliminating it all together... if you doublefeed and all that wonderfull stuff then just get another ballstopper.

how good is the stock bolt? it has a very strange design, having only one hollow chamber. on the first and only time i have used my gun, i did not break a single ball. do you think this type of high quality will continue?

yeah the cheapest and easiest way to do it is to just use a 3.0 gas through grip. if you are interested i have a spare one lying around i can sell or trade you for something.

Why upgrade your bolt if you're getting good results now? I would break the gun in, IE play a few more times... then decide where to go from there.
