Idk, if you've looked in the F8 thread posted, then you might have seen some of us saying wait on the f8, because A)we don't know of any bugs and B)it might not be worth it (idk).
Also, just curious (i honestly don't know) why would you wait t'ill after the world cup? Is it a price reduction or testing for bugs or . . .? lmk thanks

I say you buy used, you can get them for as low as $250, while new they are $325. The F8's will cost approximately $450, and will have mainly cosmetic differences than the normal Fusion. I don't think that the price of the Fusion will lower significantly, if much at all with the release of the F8.

I just bought a LE for that price. Seems to be a great marker for the price. A slight difference in apperance and no LPR worth $200? To each his own.

Well theres plenty of other differences, but the main focus with the F8 seems to be the size, weight, and looks.

Number 1: Why would you wait on the F8? DP has some of the best customer service out there. If you have an early bug, they'll fix it right up. It's lighter, smaller, no lpr to mess with, new moded internals (bolt, ram, no lpr, etc.), and IMO looks better.

Number 2: I would strongly suggest wait till after world cup for new gear. All of the 2008 products and new designs are being released and showed. As you can see online prices on tanks, hoppers, markers, and pretty much ever thing from 06 and 07 has gone down like crazy in price. New hoppers such as the empire magna hopper which ive only heard little about are going to be released. New markers like 08 egos, matrix's, F8, pikkadoll, new timmys, etc. are also being released and showed. New gear and clothes are coming out. And new tanks like the WGP bottle are being released.

New stuff comes in old stuff lowers in price and goes out.

It's not only cosmetic differences. It should perform better also.

^^Well I guess i'm just playing it safe...Here in Canada, the prices stary pretty much the same no matter what event is going on. The LE fusions are still 500 new (advertised at 475 US) and the regualr fusions at around 425 CDN.
Trust me,I would LOVE an f8, they look great and have some of DP's add on's like RAPS, but knowing my luck, I'd probably get a lemon lol.

Well my Fusion was a semi-lemon, I bought it when it first came out. First thing was that the bolt pin was too large so it scratched near the body where the bolt pin usually shouldn't touch, and along with that the detents were bad. I sent it back, they remilled the detent holes and gave me the ball bearing detents. Used it for a little bit, and they remilled it wrong. Sent it back, and they remilled it correctly, and now it works perfectly fine. A used Fusion price is already low enough to where it can hardly go lower, so if you buy used you will most likely get a good deal. Honeslty, if I was going to spend $450 on an F8, I might as well spend a little more and get the Threshold.

Wait till cup. You will be much happier with the 08's.
