Hey guys, posting this in case someone has the same problem and cannot figure it out.

Problem: Once I pulled the trigger on my A5, it would continue to fire automatically, but not shoot any balls. Would keep shooting until i turned off the tank.

Most people thought it was the rear sear or bolt being rounded, thus not catching. (Partially right)

Solution: The problem was the handle, I had noticed a small crack on the right side of my grip. When the trigger was squeezed, the handle would slightly come out, and the sear would not catch the bolt.

Thanks to all for your input, helped me come closer to the solution

Wait, I'm confused. The body of the marker should hold the trigger assembly straight as long as the grip holds it in the groove. Are you saying that the crack in the grip was causing the whole grip to slide down off the marker slightly? IE: shoving the grip toward the marker once it went into blender-mode would cause the sear to catch?

Because of the crack, when the bolt came back, it would not catch the sear because the grip was weak, and the pressure of the bolt would push it down

It came down to a hardly noticeable point, just enough to make the bolt not catch the sear, when i replaced the grip.. everything was back to normal

Bring forth the holy hand grenade of antiok

to make this on topic...

nice man, i used to have that problem with mine all the time... took it to the airsmith and he couldn't figure it out. had to send it back to tippmann, and i'm reasonably sure they just changed everything inside and gave it back... lol
