Kids at school [Archive] - Paintball Forums

These kids from school who play in their backyards with stingrays and talons and stuff want to challange my team and another team from our home field at COLORS. The kids threated to "light us up". I know its not the gun, its the player, but we all have at least 3 years of experience and we all have electros. They have just started and have stingrays and talons. Everyday they are all over me saying that they are gunna beat us. I dont know if we will get to play them but they want us to go to their backyard field. None of MY teammates or anyone from COLORS go to my school and they wouldnt waste their time on these losers. Im going to try to get them to come to COLORS paintball. What would you do?

I think you mentioned something about this before.

I say just go and play them. You know you are better. Maybe if you play them and win, they will shut up.

That'd be fun. Wee...you should play them. Bunker them and stuff. :laugh: As mentioned they'll probably say it's because you guys can shoot faster and have electro's. Too bad for them. I'm gonna laugh some more. :laugh:

we are on the same team arent we, mike? ;) Of course. Hopefully we can get TEAM COLORS to help us like Casey, Bo, Steve, Gabe, Greg, Darren (hahaha i would love for him to light them up), and Kenny. it would be awesome. Im gunna try to schedule a date for it all. :) :) :goody:

I said that and they told us to go play on their home turf....their backyard.....yeah right.

Just tell them that if they want to play you so bad then they can come to your field because you aren't about to waste your time going to play backyard ball with a bunch of newbies and if they want the match they should be the ones to come to you!

Backyard ball sounds fine to me. We should get about 10 mins to walk the field, and then game on.

Hey, Walmart players are okay, that is if they have a decent marker (ex: Sonix).....If you're gonna talk trash, you better have some skills to back it up or your gonna get your *** kicked all over.

do they have chronos? or a nice "field" in their back yeard . . . if not, get them to get to your field. they may shoot hot and they might know key bunkers (if they are good) at their field since its their back yard . . .

Well my 2 cents is this

You know that you are better than them, therefore it doesn't really mater what they say. I am a newb and when I play at my field for the first times I was pretty good. THere were two players there. ONe guy with a cocker and a guy with a stock phantom. Now the cocker guy said he light me up, but I got him a couple of times. THe best person at the field was the guy with the phantom; but he was humble.

I have no fear or hesitations from players that trash talk telling me how I suck, but I do fear the people with their own gear that are really humble.

I kinda went off on a tangent, but my basic point is you should be above what they say because they just use words. Actions are far "louder" then words.

similar situation with me.
some kid always tells me he will own me.
he plays at the newbie field in town like once every 3 months.
i play every week, sometimes twice a week.

but he's too scared to play "speed ball" as he calls it.

he just knows i'll light 'im up like a christmas tree:D
haha, some kids challenged us (4) and my little brother (who everybody on my team coaches and is 11) klobbered the whole other team (avg age, 14) hahaha. they don't talk smack anymore
