I'm looking to pick up an inline regulator for my f4. Can anyone tell me what is a good operating psi for it? I was looking at the Tippmann regulator which has an output pressure of 300-500psi. Is this too low? Thanks

I have a palmer stabilizer on my f4. I use it in conjunction with a crossfire stub nitro tank. The output for the tank is pre-set at 800psi. I bought a guage for my stabilizer to see what pressure I could use.
I tried it first at 500psi. No dice. The marker wouldn't recock and the valve just stayed open wasting all my air.
Needless to sya I raised the pressure until the marker fired consistently and with a good fps as well.
My marker runs at 675psi and has a fps of 280-285 at that pressure. I don't know if using a different reg or tank will make that much of but I thought I would just let you know about my experience.
LAter and good luck,
Jason

Thanks for the info. You've given me an idea of where I should be.

You can run an F4 as low as 400psi with a Palmer Stabilizer. Anything under that and it does the papapapopopop sound, like it's out of air. Stay around 450-500, even 400 if you get it tweaked right.
