I don't Know about boomsticks but all stars shoot real well.

boomsticks are small bore barrels. Any paint that is small bore will work well in the barrel. The el Tigre is the small bore Marballizer.

Boomsticks are tourney barrels, therefore they are made for tourney paint, so go with all stars, I use them in all my dye barrelsl, except the Excel, I use proball for that.

plus it matters on your theorie do you like a ball that rolls out of your barrel, or a match.

Heres a test, take one of your 4 favorite balls stand you barrel up straigh, (threads face up). Take one ball at a time and just drop it in there lightly, then your next one(after you take the one you just dropped out), then due this process so on with each ball. Which ever ball went the farthest in without force is your best ball fro the barrel.
