When you subscribe to Paintball 2Xtremes you can get a Model 83 for only 20 dollars:eek: So I was gonna get one and fix it up and use it as a backup. I was wondering if these take spyder threaded barrels:confused: Does anyone know?

Come on guys I know this marker sucks, but I am only paying 20$ for it and need to know if it will accept my other barrels.

no they don't take spyder barrels i tried to put one off my brothers compact 2k onto one didn't work.

If this helps any, it has the same threads as the brass eagle tigershark which, I think, has autocoker threads. but seriously, don't waste your money, I had the Winchester Durango which is the same thing, and it keeped breaking. for $50.00 you can get the tornado on www.paintballonline.com, which is way better.

Watch it, buddy. I have this marker and it's the best one I've ever owned. So far, it has never let me down. Just because it's made by a Canadian company doesn't mean it sucks. <Alright, so I may be a little biased because I'm Canadian, but it's still a solid, reliable semi.>

they dont work on spyder barrels...they have their own threads!!!!! CMI and i think J&J makes barrels for it

You can get barrels custom made for the model 83 at www.barrelsofamerica.com. They are like 40$.

well when i said team more like a group to play games with i know i cant plaY IN a tourny with this...but what would u recammend for tourny ....i have used this gun before and loved it...but ya whats the stuff to buy these days.....im a noob cant ya tell lol
