Richmond Hill? Wot foc? I live in Aurora.. how about that..

Convieniently, I'm also the resident primary pistolier - a black Zeus G1+ is my weapon of choice. (I'm featured in some videos on youtube with it, namely this one.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=WYoQKNFCR7I)

The best advice I can give you is to memorize the gun's trajectory. It isn't the most consistant marker, I'll be the first to admit that, but nonetheless, its trajectory is more or less constant. Memorize it by firing hundreds of shots at different ranges. Try setting up some targets and take your time. Once you've memorized your trajectory, you'll be able to pwn all opposition.

Another important thing is to learn the Weaver stance - It'll greatly help your game. Look it up on wikipedia or something, and make sure you do it right - dont just go 'yeah, yeah, the police stance,' and be done with it - learn it properly. Its a perfect standing platform and also my favourite one for running and gunning.

Aim at the center of mass, always. Sight along the side of the barrel and tilt upwards slightly - this pretty much guarantees a hit from any range.

COUNT YOUR SHOTS! Very important since you're running on a 10-round cigar tube mag. Also on that note, RELOAD OFTEN AND RELOAD EARLY! Some of my friends once actually counted MY shots, and rushed me once they heard ten. After that painful misadventure, I've learned to reload sporadically - even after firing like two shots. Since that day, I've had more than a few adversaries try and rush after ten shots, hoping to achieve the same success - they usually end up having a full mag unloaded on their mask at point-blank range.

Invest in 10-round stock class pods, NOT EXTRA MAGAZINES. Magazines are slower, way more expensive, and the little hooks on the gun itself are fragile and irreplacable. You can damage them very easily through removing and replacing the magazine.

Lube your rear gate o-ring (at the back of the mag) thoroughly before every match. (No, I didnt intend for that to sound so ***..) It'll ensure a fast and easy reload time. Also try to replace the stock gate loop (that you hook your finger into) with a beefier one from a keychain or something.

Perfect snapshooting and reloading with haste.

Learn to spin your pistol!

Get some comfy .45 grips. They look cool, and your palms will thank you. I use a snazzy set of Hybrid leather Gunslingers. Very nice on the hands and on eyes. Not on the wallet. : (

Invest in a -GOOD- holster. I bought a cheap $45 Warsensor one.. even at its tightest, it doesn't fit me (though I am a skinny *******) and the damn thing wobbles like hell when I run. Dont make the same mistake - get a good one.

And, most importantly, think. Really think about your game. This is a skill some people are sadly born without, but if you can visualize your environment and, in a split second, weigh out the outcomes of every possible option available to you, a 10-shot pistol is all you need.

Outdoor play may be a bit hard for pistol players - it is for me. However, indoors, (like at Area 51 paintball,) there isn't anything I'd rather have in my hands. Well, I hope all that helped.. I wish only the best of luck to you.

Sorry for the mad delay, but thanks; glad I could be of some help.

The only official fields I go to are Area51, Barrie, and Ultimate - all of which are insanely expensive and over an hour away from here. Weather permitting (ie, not now, since there's two to three feet of snow on the ground), I just play - for free - on a little strip of woods on the outskirts of Newmarket we call 'Joker's Hill'.

My email is cereal_killer_1337@hotmail.com - When spring rolls around and the mud dries up, give me a shout; the 343rd always welcomes new members.
