I hope you trust the guys at your paintball store.

It may have just been a stuck poppet...but if you dont know how to trouble shoot your stuff, then youre at their mercy.

There were specific instructions included with my Mini where it tells the user, if there is a leak down the barrel (ie, out the face of the bolt), to turn the velocity adjuster all the way in to reset the poppet valve. It goes on to say that sometimes, during transport of the marker, the shaking/impacts to the marker may cause the poppet to slip out of the closed position. In that case, when you re-apply the air source, air will leak out the face of the bolt.

Cheers

What jwong says is true. If your Mini leaks mad quantities of air down the barrel, remove the air tank and turn your velocity adjuster in. You'll feel the adjuster bottom out within 1 to 2 turns.

Since lubing the poppet requires you to remove the velocity adjuster, I scored a small mark onto the back of my adjuster so that I could more easily return the velocity adjuster to the same spot. When I chrono after cleaning, it's much easier to get it dialed in right.
