First pic is pre-cup picture.http://www.alienpb.com/images/products/independence-full.jpg
*note-hammerhead barrel back is not coming with the gun only added for photo purposes.

A picture after cup w/alien's trademark 85*frame. Gun will also come with a traditional 45 frame for free. 45 frame shown in first picture:

The barrel is a two piece carbon fiber front and aluminum back. 3-bore kits available.

Also apparently the bolt photographed are prototype models of Alien’s sofTouch sweep bolt which will be easier on brittle paint. Said to be shape to flow with body later.

I saw a few pictures of it in Splat, and thought it looked really nice. I have always been impressed by Alien's work, but never had the money to get one.

The frame looks REALLY uncomfortable. Yes, I realize it comes with two frames. However, I won't question Jack's work; it is genious. What's the retail of these bad boys?

I think 85* is something you either like or dislike, but definitely something you should try out before you shun it. I think it's awesome alien is providing two frames. Most companies see that as a way to charge us buyers more money for another frame. To me, I thought the frame would be uncomfortable too since I mainly shot 45 frames, but the inteceptor(Alien's 1st 85* gun) turned out to be so comfortable and easier to walk the trigger with your wrist at a resting angle rather than downward. Also made snap shots quicker for me. So, maybe the extra frame is an incentive from Jack to convert us all to 85* ;). j/k. I think it's great.

Um I don't know the extent of the details on the difference, but the base price for the Indy is $799. They have a Premiere version with upgraded programmable board and 4-piece CF barrel kit for $899. They are also doing a customer loyalty program where you can trade your working/re-serviceable 06 Ceptor for $300 toward the Indy. So if you can pick one up cheap then you get the Indy for $300 less.

Eh'...they could have chopped off some more of the frame towards the back...maybe it'll help balance it tho...

Shorter bolt and better looking snatch grip would make it look nicer, but I still like it.

I guess my comments in the pictures weren't very visible, but from what I was told on the 2nd photo is the alien 85* frame. Alien will also provide the 45 frame FOR FREE pictured in photo #1. I do notice a distinct difference in the snatch grip of the two frames, possibly like Head Hunter mentioned could be for balance. Also the bolt is not completely done. In the end it will be shaped to flow with the body and hopefully dyed also :).

That's where the noid goes on Aliens. It's fastened directly to the bottom of the ram housing.

Marker Style looks bulky and un-comfortable. Has an Older look and design to it. Not my choice for a marker, that’s just my opinion.

The gun is secksy(yes secksy)but I held one at HB and it had no type of egronomic support. It's like putting a rectangle(frame) into a circle(hand)

That's with no debounce, so it's not really true semi.

But... they weren't making it out to the tree!
I almost got an Indy, I decided on a Nurv Droid though in the end.
