I do every two full days of play. Or i chop paint in it. Fearpaintball.net has a nice little vid on how to maintain it.

Once for every weekend of play.

Here's a tip for lubing the bottom of the cyclone. Take the large bolt that holds the cyclone to the marker out. Spray (or drip) your lubricant of choice into that hole, as it goes straight into the chamber and the hole lines right up with the ratchet.

Remember, it is not a real firearm. There is no need to clean it every time you use it, and it will pretty much be a waste of time.

Keep in mind, VERY LITTLE of the marker touches the receiver. I would put a couple of drops on the oring where the bolt is, and a few drops in the asa after I use it. The reason for this, is to keep the o rings inside the marker moist.

NEVER use gun oil that is petrolum based. If you are unsure, just buy PBgun oil. I have had the same bottle 2 years now.

I'm an engineer. It's what I do. I can't turn it off. I can't watch children's movies anymore because I spend too much time yelling at the screen about how that's not physically possible. Come to think of it... I do that for a lot of movies lately.

If I major in Aeronautical Engineering, do ya think you'd wanna do my homework?

Or I could just major in Aeronatical Science

but having you do my homework sounds better. I mean, you could do my homework, and I could clean your markers...

It's only 250 miles from Miami to Daytona...

Is it better to use Hoppes Gun oil or Shocker lube for Tippmanns?

Hoppes gun oil. Shocker lube is some thick stuff made for lubing regs for high end eltro's.

But messing with my gear is probably even more fun than actually playing. I'm the team mechanic by choice. And sure, I'll do your homework. Just redirect the funding that would normally go towards your books and paintball into my bank account, and I'll get you a minimum of a C.

Yeah, keep that Shocker lube out of your Tippmann. It's not even any good for lubing the bottom of the cyclone.
