Out wards (spelled as one word) is caught by the profanity filter; to be exact, the word "out war" is in question

It is because of the link-based online game, 0utwar. Users were creating fake links in their signatures and also making many threads just to get people to click it.

Exactly what Spyder said. Unfortunately some people in the past ruined it and caused that word to be added to the swear filter.

We prohibit these types of online games (you'll note this in the forum rules) and as a result we keyword blocked (aka swear filtered) the name of that game...which in turn blocks out the larger word.
