Check your ball latch. Is it in right? Is it even there?

That's a good point...when i first took my gun apart...it flew out...fortunately, i was in a small room and found it....the ball latch is a TINY piece of rubber/plastic in your gun where the ball drops into the chamber. Take off the barrel and you should be able to see part of it sticking up. It looks kinda like this: __\
Sorry, that's a crude pic, but hopefully you get the idea...anyway, look in your Tippmann manual for a better illustration. That part of your gun is what keeps the ball in place when it drops into the chamber. It is hard enough to stop the ball from moving on its own, but soft enough for the ball to pass when a shot is fired w/o breaking the ball. If you were missing this piece, you could experience problems such as the ones you are having. This would be because a ball would drop into the chamber, then possibly being to roll forward allowing 2 or even 3 balls to chamber. It's a small piece, not that expensive, but quite important. Hope this helps.
