My DM Framed 98c Project

I have been working on this for a while and got some spare time and worked on this alot the last few days. I was able to shoot a bag of paint through it the other day without the eyes and had no chops but one barrel break with some bad paint. I am a ways from finishing the project however, its fully functional now. The gun in my opinion has turned out to be very clean so far and there is alot of cosmetic work left to do.

Stuff left to do
-Eye Covers- "Well my plan is to add up some material around where the eyes are with some lab metal. Then I will add a layer of sacran wrap/clay/or something to keep the Lab metal from sticking to other metal and add a bit around the wires to give them some breathing room. Then I will add some lab metal in that area to make the accuall eye covers. That way it would look alot cooler and will be extremly durable."

I have put in the eyes, yet the stock eyes are a really tight fit so I am going to get some new laser eyes that will give me more room when hooking up the eyes.

I love this type of stuff, honest to goodness custom modification. And I would love to see people's reactions to it in person. "You're shooting a 98? Noob" - only to see them get lit up.

Very sexy, but not so much as the guy using it...awkward.

Have you considered trying Ego style eyes? I don't know if they'd work, but they have a lot lower profile than those you're using. They'd probably be easier to do covers for.
