Which double trigger do you guys recommend for the M98? The Psycho Ballistics or the one made by Tippmann? I believe there are acutally 2 double triggers made by Psycho Ballistics.

I have a pb double trigger and I love it. THe trigger pull is like 10 times lighter than the little stock single trigger thing.

It's really personal preference. The PB trigger is a little wider than the Tippmann double trigger. But with the PB trigger gaurd, you can use Sticky or Gel grips without cutting them. I myself use the PB double trigger with a LAPCO trigger gaurd.

I have the Tippmann, and I had to cut the grips where the guard enters the handle. It's not to bad, it only took 15 minutes to carefully cut the grips.

whose the "wrap around" trigger guard made by? you know the one that wraps around the 2x trigger and you dont have to cut your grips....i'm gonna make one of those i think... save me 30(canadian) bucks from buying one.

I've read some complaints that the PB one is hard to pull or that there is a lot of play in the trigger. I haven't done any research on the one made by tippmann...how much play do you guys have in your triggers?

Humm...BUMP

Sorry to bump...but I figure it's better than making a whole new topic...and just to rephrase...how much play do you guys have in your PB double triggers...I've also heard some ppl say they are harder to pull...anyway...I'd love a reply! Thanks :)

i'm not really sure how much play is in my double trigger. I came with the gun since i bought it used. I have no problems with it.

By play I mean...how much does your trigger wiggle around...side-side or front-back...how loose does the trigger feel? Do you know what I mean know? Thanks

I have a Toxic Performance Trigger. Its very light(comparable to a stock cocker trigger) I get around 6-8 BPS outta my Tippmann now.You do have to cut the grips though, but its not that hard and doesn't take 15 min.

Thanks fellas...anyone know about the "play" in the Psycho Ballistics trigger? It is cheaper and I wouldn't have to cut my precious grips.

the pb dbl trigger has some side to side play and very little front back play. but this play is not noticed at all in a real game, it will not affect your speed much at all. (the little forward play is just extra travel that may slow you down a single ball per 10 seconds but it is no biggie) plus you can change the trigger w/ jb weld and a file and eliminate all play. overall, it is great for the model 98

I have the double trigger made by Tippmann, and I can't get the split grips to come completely together, even though I cut them with plenty of room.

So if you had it to do over, would you go with the Psycho Ballistics version with which you don't have to cut the grips?

I had the same problem moose god. It has nothing to do with the trigger. If you tighten the screws that hold the grip down too tight the grip will start to raise up. You need to find a sweet spot where they are tight on but don't start to raise. And by the way I have the Tippmann double trigger. It has a little play from side to side but like the other guy said not noticeable when it counts. The pull is very light.

i have the pb and it has a little side to side movement, but only u can notice, i bought it just becasue it was cheaper and no grip cutting, i think the tippmann 2x trigger looks better:eek:

Its a psycho ballistics. I just put some DYE stickys on my 98c, and let me tell you that was a *****, but they look sweet.

or u can always get the new K&K ring trigger!
my brother has used it and said it is awsome, better than the double trigger.

The ring trigger wouldn't really help me shoot faster would it? It does look cool, but I'm going for a higer ROF.

well...... it could idk. lol. but go for the psycho ballistics double trigger, u dont have to cut into your grips! and it is super easy, like all 2x triggers, to install.

but to answers assasins question, does anyone know if the ring trigger increases ROF?? cuz honestly i dont know. lol

I don't really think it will Spec.

BTW...this is a cool post...we just got to 2 pages! Awesome. Maybe a good double trigger resource? Sticky?

I'd sticky the 68 thread before I'd sticky this one. :)

And I'm not plannin' on stickying that one either.
