When i put the co2 on i can hear it leaking from where you screw on the barrel. Do you know why it might be doing this?>

your gone is probably leaking air b/c either u co2 o ring is messed, or you might have broken a cup seal inside your gun.
Leak down the barrel? Valve trouble. If you don't know how to fix it yourself (which is a pain in the ***, damn metal coil) I'd suggest just sending it to Tippmann.
It's the O-ring on your seal. And that takes some digging and disassembly to get to.

meph nailed it. it is 99% sure to be your valve. ihad the exact same problem with my 98, i called tippmann they said it was the valve, i sent it in they fixed it for free. send it to tippmann. the reason your valves get blown(or at least mine) is that you have to turn the velocity screw in all the way before disasembly. i forgot to do this and it blew my valve

Before you call TPI, try cycling a few drops of oil through the gun to coat internal seals with oil, and hopefully get rid of any unwanted dirt, etc. that could be gunking up the valve.
Put about 3-4 drops of oil in the ASA adapter, screw on your tank, and fire about 30 shots to get oil through the gun. Make sure to emove your barrel, because Oil In Barrel = Poor Accuracy
