hi, im new and havent played yet. i got a spyder sonix 07 for xmas and wanted to now what you guys thinkk of the marker. also some recomendations on waht to wear would be nice. thancks

I haven't used the 07 version, but i do have an older one that works fine under ideal conditions. the stock barrel is crap, as well as the feedneck on mine. i'm sure it's not much different that the new one. other than that, it's a decent gun for <$100.

hey man, its cool to get other peoples opinions but dont worry if people start bashing your gun cause your mom didnt buy you an angel or a bushmaster. Remember that its the player not the gun, i once beat an angel with a pump marker. I personally havent ever used this specific gun, but the spyders i have used were decent. As f ar a what to wear, i ushually wear my jersey, but i would recomend putting tha money into your gun to upgrade the barrel or something like that. i would recomenda long sleeve T and whatever long pants you feel most comfortable in. Main thing is dont wear too much stuff, i did my first time and ended up getting sick in the parcking lot. good luck with your first game and dont be afraid

It's a spyder so it's like all the other spyders except for the VS versions. I haven't used it either but since it's the same design i can be safe to say it's a good. gun. I'd just put a good one piece barrel on it like a J&J and you're set. Where what ever you want it doesn't matter. I've seen people play in t-shirts, shorts, both, it doesn't matter as long as you're comfortable.

Just play with your gun and see what you like/dislike about it, don't do stuff to your gun just because we tell you to. As for what to wear, just wear a long sleeve shirt and some pants.

have fun, wear whatever you want. i'm not sure what you have for a mask, but you may want in invest in a nice one. one that breaths well and does not fug up. a moterised loader and an electronic grip frame for that spyder would exponentially increase your ROF. you're never too new to go electro.
