Omen owners! I've been looking at getting an Omen 2.0 but, even after reading the reviews on this site, still don't have my mind made up. Whether you love or hate it, can anybody answer what I am wondering?
1- Kick / recoil. I am assuming it's pretty light like an Autococker. I used to own a Trilogy Pro SF.
2- Reliability.
3-Basic handling / Ergonomics. I know the front grip is really close to the trigger frame, any other comments?
Thanks.

it has massive kick. not so much barrel lift as result of high operating pressure, but a very pronounced rocking moting produced by the massive back block. check out the omen vids on youtube and see for yourself.
the ergonomics? can't say, but it does have an offset vert feed. you may love it or hate it.

Hmmm.... It apparently does have quite a kick, though I would not necessarily describe some of the guys firing the marker on you tube as having "mad skills" either.
Thanks bud.

Although the Omen does fire from a closed bolt, it is basically a blow back marker, which is one reason it kicks more than you might expect. The difference is that the bolt has a sprung return, so once the mechanism blows back to cock, the bolt is able to move forwards again under spring tension. Closed bolt, yes, but operation is nothing like that of an Autococker.

Ohhhh.... I see. Well, then kick is like a LP Spyder probably (light, but not nearly as light as even a stock 'Cocker). Then I can probably check this off my list of possible markers.
Thanks for that clarification.

I agree with Omen924. I had a spyder pilot and i didnt have any problems with that then i got an omen and had like 2 problems right away. Something was blocking my trigger and there's this little tiny screw you got to turn to "adjust" the air pressure that strips really easily.
