I believe it is worth up grading, but some might say just buy a new gun. Personally I upgraded mine and it shoots great. I put a mako storm frame, and core Co2 performance regulator system, 12v revy x-board hopper, and I run it off a remote because it would be too much trouble to mount the drop backward on the mako storm frame with the stock x-chamber and braided stainless hose. After you upgrading to a elcd you have to adjust the the sear. If you upgrade you'll get even more compliments about your gun, and you'll be out there tearing up your competition.
